With a wink of joyful irreverence, mixed media artist, Sandra Jo Hackbarth’s latest body of work begs to be taken off the wall and given a good shake.
Offered as interactive assemblage, shadowbox framed works on paper are loaded with confetti cut from past works; text, printed imagery and bits of painted, knotted, cut string. Vinyl decals of her images on the front of the glass throw shadows that move with the light.
The work is changed by every toss.
